working together
Working with a developer in the Philippines
Hiring someone on the other side of the world raises fair questions. Here's how it works in practice.
// your hours
I'm online during your morning
I work 6 AM – 12 PM ET, and again 8 PM – 11 PM ET. Send a request in the morning and I can work on it while you're still at your desk.
// communication
Clear, written updates
I usually reply within one business day, in plain English. One New York client calls my correspondence "thoughtful and neat."
// long term
Still here after launch
Many US clients keep me on for maintenance for years, like BuyItByTheCase in Florida and VetSupply.Online.

about
Hi, I'm Joseph.
I'm a Filipino web and e-commerce developer, building for clients since 2012: 14 years of experience. I help US store owners and small businesses build, fix, and maintain online stores that customers can find and enjoy buying from, whether that's a storefront processing orders every day or a clean marketing site.
Most of my work lives on BigCommerce, along with Shopify, WooCommerce, and WordPress. I've handled full builds, platform migrations, and the detailed jQuery and CSS work that makes a design behave exactly the way it should. Most of my clients are in the US, from New York to California and Florida, and many stay on for ongoing maintenance long after launch.
I work from the Philippines, but on your schedule: I'm online 6 AM – 12 PM ET, your morning. If your store needs building, fixing, or someone reliable to look after it, I'd be glad to help.
